Abstract

This article aims to clarify doubts which were discussed at IBDT’s Mesas de Debates and suggested this author to do a more detailed research and interpretation of the law. The main object is article 129 of Law 11.196 about the income tax, but it arises several issues regarding the actual interpretation of the law, its enforcement and the function of tax regulations issued by decrees (not laws).
