Abstract

Casa do Direito, 2022), with more than 1,000 pages, bringing together 82 articles by 111 authors, who critically comment the decisions of the Federal Supreme Court (Supremo Tribunal Federal) seen as correct, recording their fundamental role in the construction of the Democratic Rule of Law. The aim was to demonstrate advances, paths and prestigious principles in their judgments. In a difficult historical moment, of systematic attacks on the Court, this work marks the jurisprudence of democratic resistance, guarantor of the Rule of Law and the empire of the Constitution, highlighting the decisions of the STF that effectively deserve the applause of the legal community, emphasizing that our Court has obeying the assumptions of transparency, publicity, isonomy and the reasoning of its decisions. At the end of the review, several articles and authors are listed who commented on tax decisions that they considered correct.
