Abstract

The article discusses whether the trade of music and videos on the internet is subject to ISS (Service Tax) and/or ICMS (Tax on Circulation of Goods and on transportation and communication Services), Brazilian VAT taxes, addressing the “sale” and “rental” of track, album, movies and TV series, delivered by download, and the “radio” supplied by streaming.
